every ten minutes from 6 a.m.-8 a.m. every weekday on
Newsradio 1300 KACI and KIHR-AM 1340.
Bios
Mark
Bailey keeps listeners updated on what's going on
in the Mid-Columbia and the Northwest with our award-winning
news at :05 and :35 after every hour, along with the most
complete update on the region's sports at 7:30 each morning.
Mark is News and Sports Director for all of the Bicoastal
Media Columbia River stations, leading the company to
numerous Oregon Associated Press Broadcasters Association
and Oregon Association of Broadcasters awards in those
areas over the past two decades.
Jeff
Skye keeps everything moving on Mid-Columbia Mornings...updating
community events at :28 after every hour, relaying weather
forecasts throughout the show, and testing our listeners'
knowledge with Jeff's Trivia Challenge at 6:20 a.m. every
morning. Jeff was then hired by KIHR in May of 1989, and
has been there ever since, and has co-hosted Mid-Columbia
Mornings since the show signed on in 2004.

Local
sports and weather expert Temira Wagonfeld
brings her Recreation Report to Mid-Columbia Mornings
at 6:56 a.m. and 7:56 a.m., plus the weather forecast
at :15 and :45 after the hour.
Temira
moved to Hood River to pursue a career as a pro
windsurfer, and has won numerous events, including
the 2004 Gorge Games and the 2007 Gorge Freestyle
Frenzy and is acknowledged as the Gorge’s best female
windsurfer which makes her one of the best in the
world. In early 2007, Temira began an internet-based
weather forecast and Gorge sports related information
blog and mailing list.
Temira’s
background as a writer – she’s written for the Hood
River News, Windsurfing Magazine, Windsport, Newwest.net
and Windgirls.com – gave her the ability to construct
entertaining forecasts that contained weather as
well as laughs.

Bob
Hoff helps update agricultural news on Mid-Columbia
Mornings with Marketline at 6:12 a.m. and the
Northwest Farm and Ranch Report at 6:25 a.m. Bob is
a member of the National Association of Farm Broadcasters
since that time, and has been recognized by the Idaho
Grain Producers on two separate occasions for his
excellence in news reporting. First in 1996 and again
in 1999 he received their coveted Electronic Media
Award. Bob and his wife Kathy have been married for
30 years. They have three children and two Grandchildren.

Emily
Senay, M.D., is host of Mid-Columbia Morning's 90-second
feature CBS Healthwatch at 6:20 a.m. each weekday,
and is a health and medical correspondent for CBS
Television's The Early Show. Dr. Senay continues to
practice medicine at the Floating Hospital, a ship
docked in New York City that sails every Friday with
patients aboard who need medical assistance and education.
Dr. Senay received her M.D. from Mount Sinai School
of Medicine in New York in 1988. |
Johnny
Holliday updates Mid-Columbia Mornings listeners on
the national sports scene every weekday morning at
6:30 a.m. Holliday's list of credits include ABC's
coverage of the Winter and Summer Olympic Games in
1984, 1988, 1994, and the 1996 Summer Games in Atlanta;
ABC coverage of championship boxing, The Masters,
the USFL Game of the Week with Hall of Famer Paul
Hornung, and television coverage of the Liberty and
Aloha Bowls. |
Known
as the media pundit who reshaped the political landscape
with his entertaining and informative brand of conservatism,
Rush Limbaugh can be heard during Mid-Columbia
Mornings at 6:51 a.m. on Newsradio 1300 KACI and KIHR-AM
1340 with his own brand of commentary. Limbaugh
received the Marconi Award for Syndicated Radio Personality
of the Year given by the National Association of Broadcasters
in 1992, 1995, 2000 and 2005. In 1993, he was inducted
into the Radio Hall of Fame and in 1998, into the
National Association of Broadcasters Hall of Fame.

Greg
Martin brings Mid-Columbia Mornings listeners the
Northwest Fruit Growers' report at 6:55 a.m. and Line
on Agriculture at 7:12 a.m. Being behind a microphone
is as natural for Greg as breathing. Greg has spent
the better part of 30 years in broadcasting beginning
in the Midwest where he spent his summers growing
up unloading wheat trucks or driving a tractor. His
years in radio and his love of writing are a perfect
combination to help bring the world of agri-business
to you. Greg and his wife Gail have been calling each
other husband and wife for nearly 30 years. Their
only son Ian is married and is serving in the United
States Navy. |
Ray
Lucia helps Mid-Columbia Mornings listeners with their
financial questions with his "Money Clip" at 7:20
a.m. each weekday morning. Ray is a nationally
known business and financial expert with his own practice
in the San Diego area. |
With
over 20 years of involvement in the Washington wine
industry without a doubt Linda Moran knows her
wine...and she teaches Mid-Columbia Mornings' listeners
on "Vine to Wine" weekdays at 7:42 a.m. For ten
years she worked in the Wholesale Wine Distribution
developing full -scale wine training programs for
the hospitality industry. Prior to launching her highly
acclaimed "Getting to Know Wine" video series Linda
was the Executive Director of the Auction of Washington
Wines working in conjunction with the Washington Wine
commission. |
