The radio stations of Bicoastal Media and Northshore Medical Group teamed up to help a Columbia Gorge family in need. Wheels Of Hope provides a deserving family lacking transportation options a vehicle to help them meet their daily travel needs. This year’s vehicle is a 2007 Honda Accord from Griffith Motors.
Bicoastal Media received over 60 nominations from throughout the Columbia River Gorge during this year’s “Wheels of Hope” process, and a panel of judges made up of representatives from Bicoastal Media, Northshore Medical Group, sponsors and representatives of agencies involved in helping families selected the family to receive the vehicle.
This year, Bud Light is helping to “Pay It Forward” by making donations of $1,000 each in Evans’ name to three organizations that help members of the Columbia Gorge community. Receiving the donations are The Next Door, the Mid-Columbia Community Action Council, and Mid-Columbia Health Foundation’s Breast Health for Strong Families program.
